Salary Range: $41,500 - $48,000 annually (flexible schedule with some work-from-home options)

We aim to foster a community where families are equipped to grow in their relationships with Christ and where the church serves as a support system for nurturing children in their faith.
Position Summary:
The Associate Director of Children’s Ministry will lead and support a cohesive, Christ-centered discipleship program for children from infancy through 5th grade. Working collaboratively with the Director of Family Ministries, this role will focus on equipping families to be the primary disciplers of their children while creating a welcoming, fun, and safe environment for spiritual growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Partner with the Director of Family Ministries to develop and implement a dynamic children’s ministry strategy aligned with the mission and values of Faith Church.
- Program Development: Lead and oversee ongoing children’s ministry programs, including Sunday services, special events, and family engagement initiatives. Ensure these programs are gospel-centered and designed to support children’s spiritual growth.
- Family Engagement: Strengthen relationships with families by equipping them to be the primary disciplers of their children. Provide resources and support to help families grow together in Christ.
- Volunteer Recruitment and Development: Recruit, train, and care for volunteers, ensuring that they are equipped to serve effectively. Cultivate a strong team dynamic among volunteers and create an atmosphere of encouragement and growth.
- Quality Improvement: Regularly assess the effectiveness of children’s ministry programs and make necessary adjustments to improve the overall quality and engagement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members and volunteers, fostering a culture of grace, humility, truth, and love.
- Ministry Environment: Oversee a team of 38 monthly volunteers and engage with 15-30 children per Sunday service. Lead a weekly program aligned with Sunday worship, creating a consistent faith experience for families.
Expectations and Success Metrics:
- Family Engagement: Increase the involvement of families in discipleship and spiritual growth activities. The goal is to see families actively growing in their relationships with Christ, empowered to nurture their children’s faith.
- Volunteer Retention: Build and retain a strong volunteer team by creating a supportive and inspiring environment. Expanding the volunteer base is key to meeting the growing needs of the ministry.
- Program Growth: Foster spiritual growth and attract new families to the children’s ministry by improving the quality and engagement of programs.
Qualifications:
- A committed Christian with an active and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, passionate about children’s ministry and is alignment with the Mission of Faith Church Loveland.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred in ministry or education) with leadership experience in a children’s ministry setting.
- Strong relational skills and a desire to serve the church community.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and other communication tools.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening.
