Position: Finance Manager
Reports To: Owner

What does a Finance Manager with Paul Davis do?
  • Manage all phases of job costing within RMS and Quickbooks accounting software
  • Maintain all accounting, computer, and financial records for the franchise in conjunction with a CPA/Outside bookkeeper
  • Review job costs, work orders/purchase orders, and overheads for corrective action
  • Assists with obtaining and reporting key performance indicator (metrics) data
  • Controls banking activities and reconciles bank and credit card accounts
  • Manages the A/R and A/P processes, including customer invoicing and collections, vendor invoicing and collections
  • Month-end close and bank recs
  • Responsible for monthly WIP entries
  • Process monthly reports from RMS and the Reports portal
  • Enter timesheets, calculate commissions, process payroll
  • Public relations: Establish a rapport with insurance carriers, customers, vendors, subcontractors, adjusters, agents, and fellow employees
  • Assist other team members when needed and foster a positive working relationship with other departments
  • Maintain all accounting, computer, and financial records
  • Prepares all financial statements and reports
  • Focus and dedication to providing excellent customer service

  • Collecting information, strong listening and communication skills, asking questions, and monitoring various aspects of the business to detect problems
  • Be empathetic to customers and show a sense of urgency while communicating through modern technology
  • Fields calls from customers and team members
  • Checks/Sorts mail
  • Handles sub-contractor paperwork, including W-9 and Insurance Certificate compliance, and communicates pay cycle structure

  • Salary: $64K - $70K annually, based on experience

Team Qualifications (Requirements):
  • 1-3 years of Quickbooks experience
  • 1-3 years prior accounting experience
  • Contribute a positive attitude
  • Dedication to excellent customer service
  • Is a stickler for details
  • Organized but flexible. Must prioritize, manage time, and function efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Fluent in English
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Have the ability to work overtime if needed
  • Desire to continually learn new things
  • Can review data and deductively think through what information might be missing
  • Proactive, assertive personality
  • Likes to create and follow systems while helping others to follow them as well
