To learn more about Extension, visit: https://extension.colostate.edu/Position Summary Facilitators will lead the Healthy Living Program (HeLP) curriculum for parents, teens, and/or siblings weekly during each 6 - week, family-inclusive program. There will be multiple, 6 - week programs offered annually. Facilitators may be primarily responsible for leading one of the four curriculums used for HeLP, but will be expected to have facilitation competency for all curriculums over time. Facilitators will be expected to participate in on-going training to improve skills. Facilitators may also assist with the recruitment and retention of participants.Required Job Qualifications High School Diploma or GED EquivalentAbility to facilitate discussion in a group settingInterest in promoting healthEnjoys working with adults and youth of all agesBuilds trust with program participantsFamiliarity with the community (county) in which the program is offeredBasic nutrition and physical activity knowledgeAbility to assist with set-up which may include lifting of items weighing up to 20 poundsWillingness to travel within the county to facilitate programs provided at different locationsDemonstrates patience while working with younger children.
