The Network/Systems Analyst will assist the Systems Administrator with design, administration, and maintenance of data and network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, access points, servers, network permissions, system security, Network software applications, Active Directory, Remote access Additionally, this position will support FGI IT department with software development as needed, and provide backup helpdesk support for FGI staff.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science; or five years of relevant experience in a networked computer environment utilizing PC-based servers and Microsoft applications. Must have working knowledge of Visual Basic and Structured Query Language Requires strong knowledge of all Microsoft operating systems. Familiar with data backup strategies and software. Full understanding of proper network design and setup/troubleshooting skills with network switches, routers, and firewalls.
