We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to join our team in the Accounting + Finance industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in deli meat production, GMP, HACCP, food safety, SQF, and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a driven individual who can bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to our team while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Production Manager, your primary duties will include:

1. Overseeing the production process of deli meats, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards, and Safe Quality Food (SQF) regulations.

2. Implementing and maintaining food safety programs and ensuring all operations are in compliance with regulatory requirements.

3. Leading continuous improvement efforts in production processes, implementing strategies to increase efficiency and productivity while maintaining the highest quality standards.

4. Collaborating with other departments, such as Accounting and Finance, to ensure accurate record-keeping, cost control, and budgeting.

5. Managing and developing a highly skilled and efficient production team, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring adherence to all safety and quality standards.

6. Continually monitoring and analyzing production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Production Manager position, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the food production industry, specifically with deli meats.

2. Proven experience in implementing and maintaining GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards.

3. A strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices.

4. Demonstrated experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives in a production environment.

5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.

6. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis in a production setting.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex production data and make informed decisions.
