Speech-Language Pathologist Vacancy

To qualify for this position, applicants must
- Have an active license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Have a masters degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Preferably, some experience in pediatrics or schools
Responsibilities
- Proficiency to identify, plan, implement, and evaluate SLP therapy treatment for school-aged children with cognitive communication disorders, speech and/or language impairments or delays
- Ability to treat speech, language and cognitive-communication disorders in school-aged children
- Facilitate goals and objectives per childs educational plan
- Counsel parents, students and teachers regarding speech and/or language disorders
- Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students
- Maintain appropriate records
- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
- Perform other SLP duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
- Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and project a professional image at all times
- Adhere to productivity requirements, complete productivity reports and submit in a timely manner
