JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is for a seasonal part & part-time Tubing Lead. The Tubing Lead will lead the daily operations of Hoedown Hill’s tubing facilities by establishing HoeDown Hill tubing Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocols. This is a guest-facing position with a focus on providing an exceptional guest experience.

Essential Job Functions:  

  • The Tubing Lead will guide our commitment to providing a safe experience for our guests and team members by adhering to all HoeDown Hill Standard Operating Procedures and safety policies.
  • Responsible for leading the HDH tubing team through all daily operations including position assignments, and break schedules, and making sure all expectations of operations, guest experience, and safety are met.
  • Responsible for compliance with all departmental HDH Tubing Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Consistently express a friendly, congenial, and helpful attitude while effectively providing guests and fellow employees with assistance, information, and directions
  • Leads daily setup and tear down of tubing facilities including tubing lanes, tubing Conex, tube corals, signage, fencing, line queues, speed mitigation, padding, safety inspections, and safety testing.
  • Must demonstrate a strong commitment to punctuality and maintain consistent attendance to fulfill daily responsibilities.
  • Understanding of LOTO awareness
  • Ability to learn and perform job tasks in all activities on Hoedown Hill
  • Monitor customers’ lift tickets
  • Report potential safety hazards to Hoedown Hill Tubing Hill Supervisor
  • Provide exceptional guest experience: From operating activities to answering questions and helping guests navigate the experiences safely
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests throughout the day
  • Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments as needed
  • Leads the installation and maintaining tubing hill signage, closures, lane markings, fencing, and banner tape
  • Monitor tubing lanes by visual inspection and testing according to company policy
  • Tubing lane guest traffic control and safety monitoring
  • Assist with special events and large groups
  • Participate in user education and training
  • Working knowledge of conveyor lift and/or snow tubing operation
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements: 

  • Excellent communications skills
  • Hour Availability:
    • M-TH: 12:00 PM – 9:30 PM
    • Fri: 12:00 PM – 9:30 PM
    • Sat, Sun & Holidays: 7:30 AM – 9:30 PM
  • Basic troubleshooting skills to identify problems and safety issues and the ability to execute resolutions
  • Must be a minimum of 17 years of age

On-Hill Environment:

  • The primary physical environment in which this position works is outdoors with a high exposure level to cold, snow, wind, and rain.
  • The degree of strenuous activity within the job is high. Often lifting a weight of 25+ pounds throughout the day is common.
  • Additional strenuous physical activity may include walking or hiking on uneven, challenging terrain with equipment.

Expected Pay Range: $18-$20 per hour

Shift type: Part-Time, Weekends and Holidays
