Mason Family Pet Hospital is seeking an associate veterinarian to join our growing team!
????New graduates, those passionate about exotics, and small animal lovers encouraged to apply! ????
We are a busy, 4-doctor, small animal practice (dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets and reptiles) looking to hire a 5th, full or part time veterinarian to allow for continued growth. Located in Northeast Cincinnati, Mason is a fast-growing community and one of Greater Cincinnati’s most desirable areas for excellent schools, nice neighborhoods, and convenient shopping and recreation. Our hospital is a modern, well-equipped, recently expanded and remodeled facility with nearby specialists to provide advanced support as needed. Our staff of 25 employees including 4 licensed RVTs is dedicated to excellent patient care and honest and friendly customer service. Teamwork is key at Mason Family, and each doctor works with 2.5 assistants/RVTs while seeing appointments and 2 technicians (1 RVT & 1 assistant) during surgery.
Our ideal candidate demonstrates a genuine concern for pets and people, and excellent communication skills. This opportunity is perfect for an experienced doctor interested in exotics to work with those species with dedicated technicians comfortable in handling, also with an active client base. An interest in rabbits, pocket pets, and reptiles and/or orthopedics is a plus but not required.
We'll offer you:
- 120,000 base minimum (DOE), plus production incentives!
- Generous CE Allowance and time off to continue to grow!
- Full suite of health and wellness benefits
- 401k with match
- Full time schedule of 32-35 hours per week, at least one weekday off each week.
- No emergency duty
- Alternating Saturdays
NVAs formal General Practice Mentorship Program will help you bridge the gap between clinicals and actual practice for the first year of your veterinary career!
???? Hear from Dr. Elzein, a '22 Ohio State graduate, on her mentorship experience and why she chose an NVA hospital!

Company DescriptionNVA was founded in 1996 by Stanley Creighton, DVM, with an emphasis on supporting local medical standards as established by individual hospitals and practitioners. He believed that veterinary medicine is best practiced when veterinarians craft their own hospital and community specific strategies for high quality patient care and client services.
The vision continues at NVA as we make available the tools and resources for hospitals to achieve their medical goals while avoiding any single standardized national plan that might not be the best fit for an individual hospital. The variety of tools and resources we provide include emerging research and care standards, access to our national medical database, human resource guidance, marketing support, recruiting assistance, tax preparation, and training and education for staff. Managing veterinarians decide what level of medicine they would like their hospital to achieve, and NVA provides the support to get them there.
