Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for our remote learning program in Fort Collins, Colorado. The ideal candidate will excel in creating engaging virtual learning experiences while supporting students with special needs.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement virtual IEPs
- Deliver specialized online instruction
- Partner with general education teachers
- Conduct virtual assessments
- Lead online meetings with families and staff
- Document progress digitally
- Create virtual behavior support plans
- Maintain professional development
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Colorado teaching license with Special Education endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience in special education
- Proficiency in digital learning tools
- Strong virtual communication abilities
- Experience with IEP development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Online teaching experience
- Knowledge of assistive technology
- Bilingual capabilities
- Experience with diverse learners
- Understanding of state requirements
Schedule:
